Flower Friday

Bitterly cold again this morning with snow showers .
Gym first thing followed by the obligatory coffee.
Once home I planted runner beans plants and French bean seeds snd dug up perennial weeds. I put fleece round all the plants to protect them from frost like they do at Wisley. Hope it works.
The sky is going from a lovely blue to sinister dark snd then the snow showers come.
I wonder who remembers the Spaghetti April fool from 1957. It was so realistic that viewers called the BBC to find out where they could get the spaghetti trees from. They were told if they put a piece of spaghetti in a can of tomatoes it would grow into a tree!!
