He's back!

I watched this morning as the pheasant jumped up onto the garden wall and made his way, purposefully and confidently, through the garden and straight to the bird feeder. 

As the sparrows fed, he was showered with seeds and he did a good job of gleaning the grounds beneath the feeder!  He's obviously been doing it regularly! 

Good to see him actually because Mike and I watched two very handsome cock pheasants having a real fight the other day, just outside our gate. Chasing each other about, flying at each other with their tails up, feathers flying! Good to know that our chap is still here!
