View Across to Aberdour

Very wintry this morning. Overnight snow and hail mean a wintry start to the day. Once the sun appears, it quickly melts. By lunchtime, even the snow in the back garden has gone.

Sunny spells and the occasional snow flurry during the lunchtime walk. There's not much snow on the hills, but the haze has gone, giving good views across to Fife, like this one of Aberdour.

It is fine for the after work bike ride. There are very dark clouds behind me as I set off, which are very much precipitating. The route fortunately allows me to cycle around the heavy wintry shower. There is a strong NE wind though, but the steep climb was fine. However, the last km was again marked by wintry weather of the exfoliating kind. My cheeks feel quite smooth now. 34.8km
