Another day of season appropriate weather. Invigorating.

Johnny from City Access Scaffolding comes to look over the house. The quote he gave last year is still good & the team will come the week after next to erect it. We’ll then have six weeks to replace the roof and fit weldmesh under the cladding.

Before a late lunch, I get some beans and peas planted out in the tunnel. Rather than giving them strings to climb up, I build a wigwam of bamboo canes for the climbing beans. The peas will get twigs to climb later.
