A Chill Wind At The 4th

The wind was bitingly cold on the course this morning, making the blue skies deceptive. It was so strong it made it very difficult to keep the ball going in the right direction which meant I had more than one excursion into the trees and some high scores!

This afternoon after school, Kate & Joel had Sophie’s Parents’ “Evening”, so we picked Sophie up and looked after her until they got back. They were delighted with what her teacher had to say about her academic progress but even more about her attitude, application and empathy and kindness for other students. We’re all very proud of her.
