Spent the morning making Matt’s birthday cake, FaceTiming Ma, and then cleaning the bathroom and doing some laundry.

I’m the afternoon we went for a late lunch at New Moon, as usual absolutely smashing tapas. Lovely to see Ann and James as well, unfortunately no Ben (covid). These are the Mother’s Day flowers we bought for Wendy, looking lovely in our front garden. After food we went to Hole in the Wall for a couple more drinks.

Home in the evening to moan about being full and for me to ice Matt’s cake (and try to cover up the fact that I dropped it out of the tin and it broke in half).
