To William, with love.....
....a host of golden (and real, wild ones too!)
Tony spotted these as we drove the twisty road up to Graythwaite from Haverthwaite in the Lake District this morning, in the wind and the rain. There were no orienteering blips to be had, other than me getting very lost and struggling underfoot with the brashings, the fallen and chopped trees and the bogs (almost lost my o shoes at one point!) - it's the first time I nearly took two hours on a course for a very, very long time! So we pulled over on the way home to blip these lovely wild daffodils in a glade (sadly without any sunshine). Now the roast chicken is in the oven, Tony is in the bath and the post mortems over maps will begin after tea! Probably better in large.
