My Tree

Month two of my tree journal (see 14th March) and as you can see there are now plenty of buds appearing. In fact, as the day went on, one solitary bud opened into a delicate flower.

I don't know how old this tree is but I love the old twisted wood within it, which makes it so interesting even when it is bare.

Can't believe that up until today I have only had to wear sunglasses this year in Scotland of all places. However, with a change in weather bringing sun and a warm breeze, today was the first day in the South for donning sunglasses. Hooray.
