Purple haze

For want of anything else to post today, here is the second bunch of beautiful tulips that I received for Mothering Sunday.  They were very tightly in bud on Sunday so a couple of extra days has allowed them to open enough to show their beauty.
Violet spent a final day with us today, much better and managing proper meals as well as taking a bath, doing some reading  and playing some educational games, courtesy of her aunty, daughter #1.  She will definitely be ready for school tomorrow.

In other news: such sad news to learn that Tom Parker has died, aged only 33.
