Slim pickings

My red pepper harvest, just the two from one plant. I'm nearly out of peppers and I'll enjoy them, but they don't make economic sense.

Every year I say "that's it, no more peppers, grow more tomatoes". But then I see young pepper plants and remember that summer I grew them in buckets. What a success!

Maybe none of this matters. Maybe next year if I want to grow pepper, I should just plant one or two in buckets.
