Day 7 Challenge - Old

P and I went looking for old today! This sundial is on the Moravian Brethren's House ~ a house for single men in Bethlehem in 1700's.

The phrase Gloria Pleurae means Glory to the Side. A controversial Moravian ideology in the mid 1700's. For those not up to date in roman nmbers - MDCCXLVIII is 1748! So this qualifies as old. The only thing older would be the actual rock itself...

Oh, and even after 265 years the time is correct - except it was not Daylight Savings Time!
