Momma Merganser With 11 of Her Children

This Hooded Merganser has her hands full. I counted a total of fourteen babies of which eleven are pictured here. She kept the family well off shore which made it difficult to get a closer shot. Zoom in and check out the wonderful spiky feathers on her head.
