Day 13 of tvkosone's April Saimaa daily challenge - Children

This finger is all that was needed to keep my children under control, it is a very powerful weapon. If they were looking at me I just needed to point it at them and they would behave, if they weren't looking one call of their name and when they saw the finger they knew I was serious. It has even been known to extract tears from over 100 ft away.

Sadly, it seems to have lost its power (or they have become immune), or maybe they just behave nowadays and I don't need to use it anymore. Whichever it is, the finger has virtually gone into retirement now. It was good while it lasted and even surprised some other parents with the power that it could exert over their children. Good, natural, child control with no psychological or physical side effects and even a social worker would have trouble complaining when you're a hundred feet from the child you're controlling! (OK, maybe that last statement is optimistic, some would find something to complain about.)
