You know you're in a special place when a volunteer comes into the café and says "there's a fox at the feeding station if you want to see it" and half the clientele abandon their tables and rush downstairs to the observation window.

Taken at RSPB Saltholme this afternoon. She stayed and foraged for ages. A couple of mallards decided that discretion was the better part of valour, but the small birds on the feeders seemed to take no notice of her at all.
