Dunblane

My iPhone pinged this morning with more folk exchanging news on What’s app of family members down with Covid.
It’s all the same story- they caught it from their grandchildren. Fortunately nobody is seriously ill.

I heard   of one 9-year-old boy who   tested himself then announced to his parents he was  positive and would not be going to school.
His mother asked to see the test strip.

He had drawn the second red line on with a biro.  Instead of a day in bed with his computer he was bundled unceremoniously off to school.

The temperature has dropped to around 8C but it’s sunny so I had a walk in Dunblane alongside the river.

On the left of the river is you can just see Dunblane cathedral, one of the few medieval cathedrals still standing in Scotland. Dunblane is an attractive wee town in central Scotland and popular with visitors, and its easy to see why.
