Doughnut queue

Quiet in the market today.  Chilly day could be responsible.

Bought 2 books: a nice little hardback of The Duke's by Anthony Trollope which is entirely new to me and a Walter Scott's Chronicles of the Canongate.  I've not read any of Scott's novels.  My Russian friend has read Scott, admittedly in Russian.  I think I should attempt to read at least one novel.

On way home went into health food shop and as I left the shop assistant questioned why there were so many people queuing outside. Seems the expensive doughnut shop was luring possibly with free doughnuts.  Few wearing masks or distancing.

Chilly hound walk then made dinner. Caught up with some missed radio programmes.
