Sobersides

First thing this morning, to Bents garden centre for a couple of small early Spring hanging baskets for either side of our front door. Some colour is needed to brighten things up since I severely pruned the jasmine (it had to be done, but J is missing the greenery).

My sister contacted from Mum and Dad’s, she arrived there yesterday. Dad has a bad cough, so she gave him a lateral flow test first thing . . It’s looking positive, the doctor suggests a PCR which can be done by the carers. Oh dear.

So she cancelled her visit to Mum, who is back in hospital, and has returned home. The hospital doctor contacted her en route.

It’s not been the easiest of days.
