Mum's bulbs

I was planning on going for a run this morning but woke up knackered. The cleaner came around for the first time since we went away now she is over covid and Darwin was pleased to see her and only barked, as he was excited. Went out to do the food shopping and then headed up town to the apple shop and to wait for JD to arrive on the train. They didn’t have anyone free to talk to us but we had a wonder around before Kilda spotted JD and got very excited. Spent the afternoon playing a game with JD, the return leg of the latest Memoir 44 scenario. Turned into a draw over both legs, we had the Wales game on in the background, which turned into a great game to follow. RD and LMcD came over to watch the Scotland game, which turned into exactly what we expected but it was nice to catch up with them. FM came over to keep J company for the second half. They left and JD stayed to watch the England game before going home. Noticed today that the bulbs we got from mum last summer are just starting to come up, which is exciting.
