Rum tasting

t down to the beach early today as we only have 2 days left. Nice time on the beach and I went for a snorkel while J went for a swim. Saw a couple of large flying gurnards and a shoal of 13 small squid. Early lunch and then some more time reading my book with a bit of a snooze.  Went over to do the rum mixology thing with one of the bar tenders. J stayed for the first bit before going to yoga. Guy wasn’t that great, but at least I got to taste most of the local rums and one of the nice rums as well. Talked to a few of the Americans that were also on the tasting which is always fun. Came back and went into my bag only to disturb a female chaffinch that must have got trapped in the room when the came to make the bed. She wasn’t for going out so we left her there while we went for dinner. Managed to get a table in the nice restaurant, which was worth it. Came back and the bird had settled down for the night so we had a houseguest.
