Miniature
Narcissus rupicola, a very dwarf species narcissus, each flower about 2cm across and the whole plant just under 15cm tall. It grows in great profusion in mountains of Spain in rocky places and in acid soil. It might do ok in the garden here in a raised bed but it's diminutive stature means it could be an easy meal for slugs and snails :-/
A busy kind of day but bitty. Cleaning and tidying, a meeting, some garden work before tomorrow's installation. I helped Jamie bake chocolate caramel brownies and we walked down to the seafront with my Mum, on her scooter. She arrived yesterday with my brother and is still recovering form the eight hour journey by train ... which she's entitled to take her time over as she approaches her 94th birthday!
