Not What I Expected
I went out to take a picture of the frog spawn to see if they were developing.
What I saw was a seething mass.
No spawn - just thousands of tadpoles. (There are other shots).
I think I chose the right time to go out because as I stepped out the door there were hailstones just starting. They seemed to be coming out of clear blue skies but the sky was losing light rapidly.
It has been flipping cold all day and it was definitely hat time when I was out in the garage.
While I was out there the smell was foul - next door is having some kind of silicone finish put on the harling (Sottish Pebble-dash) of their recently (poorly) pressure washed house walls. I have no idea how long it will take because the bloke seemed to spend most of the day on his phone and when he left at 4pm I could see almost no difference.
I liked the light on the new lily pad which is why it got pride of place as opposed to one of the tadpoles.
