Catching up with an old friend.

We went to meet Stephen’s former PA at Knowle, in the King’s Arms, for lunch.
A very good lunch it was too!
We never stopped talking, all three of us, as we’d last seen Erin two years ago when she came to visit Stephen after he was home from his emergency operation in February 2020, having been in hospital two weeks. (Just before the first Lockdown when we could still visit at the hospitals) She is the on the left of this photo which was taken by another of the diners.
We had lunch about 1.00pm having arrived at 12.30pm and didn’t leave till after 5.00pm!
A lot of catching up!
It’s now 6.30pm and we’re home.
I’m having a mug of tea and will probably have a slice of toast at supper time as I’m not hungry!
It seems we had a bit of rain here but not much by the look of it.
We could do with a bit more now, as the ground is very dry here.
