a flash of color

It is good to be back in our familiar and comfy home. I hadn't realized what a difference a carpeted floor makes compared to a tile one...it really dampens the sound of hubby's walker!
Laney was eager for our morning walk through the woods to see what happened while she was gone. Well not much has changed, it is still completely brown! And today the snow flurries continue so no sight of blue sky or mountain tops. So that made seeing our local Red-tailed Hawk all the more special.
