Daffodil Dell

The power in our village went off about lunchtime. FB reported that neighbouring villages were down too.
We decided to go into town (12 miles away) for lunch but on the way we passed through the next village south of us to find their lights on. Change of plan - we’ll eat here. After lunch, we drove down a very narrow lane toward Stanton and the spa where I have my nails done. Stopped here for some photos. We were quite high up but I was still surprised to see our snow covered hills - The Cheviots bathed in sunshine.
