Sleet

Today will see the lowest maximum daily temperature recorded in our back garden this March. 
Hitherto all days have been over 5C, 23 days have been over 10C and two days were in excess of 20C. The warmest days were last week. This has been really good for early lambing but many farmers, including one I spoke to this morning, start this week, her’s on Friday. The worst weather for lambing is rain and cold wind, and that’s what we have at the moment. It was sleeting when I took the photo of our back garden this morning.
