NZ Summer 2024

Killing trees.

A walk on Rabbit Island this afternoon on this beautiful autumn day 24 degrees and no wind. The Blip shows what nesting shags do to the trees they nest in, these will not recover.
I have to say the the Island is managed very well and there has been plenty of planting and putting in poles and ropes to keep vehicles away from the waters edge.
Kasper really enjoys Rabbit Island walks maybe as there is always new smells for him but I have to be aware that'll disappear into the water given the chance.
