Only What's Done For Christ Will Last!

Another longtime member of our church and friend has left us this past week.  We did not get to attend the graveside service today because I was enjoying the sights and sounds of a routine CT scan, but we did go to the visitation yesterday.  Van Kirby will be remembered for many things, but the most far-reaching and long-lasting is our church's food pantry which served so many, both, in our church and in our community.  We will miss him for what will seem to us a long time, but for him it will seem like no time at all because there is no time in Heaven......
