Welcome home gift

I got back home this evening, shattered but delighted to find our first egg of the year. Also that there are daffodils (they're already over in Devon).

It's been a stressful time and leaving my mum this morning was awful but dad is showing signs of progress. He's still in intensive care and very confused but he apparently attempted a jailbreak in the early hours of the morning so he must be getting better bless him.

He's not out of the woods yet and will be in hospital for a long time but it's a lot less touch and go as it was last week so we now have hope.

Thank you all so much for your kind words over the past week or two, it's meant a lot. I'm sure once I've had a good sleep I'll be back to my usual blip-self but apologies for being incommunicado and looking forward to catching up with all your news in due course.
