Skimmia

Friday....and FlowerFriday.   I took this in our garden and as it was a bright sunny day, which is not ideal for flower photography as it can cause unwanted harsh shadows, I took advantage of the sun being behind me and used my body to put the flowers more into the shade, ISkimmias are easy-care and handsome evergreen shrubs that also bear fragrant flowers in spring.
