Mr Heron

I have seen a fair few herons in my life but they are often slightly obscured by branches or quite a way away. Whilst sitting on a bench by the river this one came and stood about 3 ft away from me. I gingerly reached for my camera (as we all know birds have a sixth sense when it comes to photography!) and got some lovely shots. I the end I had to move on but it showed no inclination to leave.
