Alfa Pendular train to Lisbon

We took the train to Lisbon for the day. We travelled First Class in this train (which has a tilting mechanism for the corners) and arrived in the capital at 10 am after a two and a half hour journey. This gave us a full day there before the return journey at 6.40pm. If you're over 65 (we are) the fare is reduced 50% and thus cost us £24 each return - a bargain!
