Flowering Currant
I spent much of the morning looking through photographs from two of the wildlife cameras. It is a week since I put those two back out and there were over 400 pictures on each of them. Many were rubbish and one camera needs repositioning because it is near a bush and when the wind blows the branches about it takes a picture. There were the usual rabbits, squirrels, Reeves Muntjac, Fallow deer and a small fox. Dougal and the black and white cat also featured, but clearly Florence does not visit that part of the garden. There was another shape, which I was not sure about, but thought it looked the right shape to be a badger. Indeed it was a badger identified clearly in a different picture, in fact there were two of them. Unfortunately they had not visited overnight for a picture today, but I might try and crop the picture and put it on my Instagram page.
Today’s picture is of one of the flowers on our Flowering Currant bush. There are not as many flowers this year as in some years.
Noon Today, nine degrees Celsius; cold and wet.
