Seeing Beyond Looking

Granny's Secret Garden grows

This morning I finished the pink and red squares for Granny's Garden and started the plain coloured squares which will be the next round.

I've made a collage of the various stages for myself and thought it would be also nice to see them here. The top left are the first sixteen squares, then comes the yellow and blue round (to represent Forget-me-nots, but also for the Ukrainian people). The third row in pinks and red represents the cherry blossom which is in flower now.

Each square with four colour changes takes 30 minutes to make from start to finish (including weaving in 10 loose ends) and attaching it to the blanket.

Our weather is still sunny this morning, but as the weather changes, it will be perfect for moving forward with my crochet project.
