Leak!

Had a burst pipe yesterday. Two words... Dux Quest - a faulty product used in the 80s which has become a time bomb. I went downstairs to find water dripping through the ceiling. We've had a leak before, nearly 3 years ago and you can see where the ceiling has been patched up. The plumber only replaced the section of pipe that was leaking and I'm assuming another section has gone. Being the weekend all I could do was turn the water off and mop the carpet. Fortunately we still have water to the outside tap so today I have washed up by hand and done some laundry by hand. It's amazing what we take for granted!
