Boardwalk

A late afternoon drive over to Kilsyth and a walk around Dumbreck Marsh local nature reserve.

Plans to extend my walk to include a section of the River Kelvin Walkway were scuppered by a large metal fence, a 'Path Closed' sign and, a few dozen yards beyond these, some heavy machinery reconstructing the landscape. An about turn and an alternative 'there and back' route followed, with those plans put on the shelf for another day.
