Ousdale Broch
I have an affinity with brochs, and today D and I went to visit the one near Helmsdale. It has undergone some conservation works recently by the Caithness Broch Project, who are going to build a replica one as a tourist attraction - sometime soon I hope :)
For those that don’t know, a broch is an Iron Age roundhouse only found in Scotland. The best preserved one of all can be found on the island of Mousa, Shetland, and I hope to visit soon!
