I left the mizzle at the coast and headed home via the Galloway Smokehouse and the Galloway Forest with red kites soaring overhead and the wild goats out in force.

Onwards to Holy Linn, not quite a holy well but felt very remote and was used for baptisms by Covenantors, via Clatteringshaws where I’ve never seen such perfect mirror reflections there before.
