Daffodils

Removing the old log rolls in the garden isn’t as easy as was anticipated by Duncan. He is not a young man and the digging out was making him breathe heavily. The builders used really long poles although not much is showing above ground and they used an enormous amount of concrete. He managed to get 8 out today but has dug out behind lots more so hopefully more progress tomorrow. 
We took the bus into Exmouth, had a new battery fitted in my husband’s watch and filled both our rucksacks with shopping. Then we walked home via the old railway path. I knew the garden where the daffodils were should look good.
