Working on Grutness Pier

A fine day, but mostly cloudy.  A flat calm morning, turned breezy for a while, and then a calm evening. 

Start of a new week, and early shift in the airport.  I was on check-in first thing, and then most of the day working with oil and gas flights.  A busy day, plenty of folk moving about.  Met friend Julie for walkies with the dogs this evening.  Feet up, before an early night. 

I headed down the pier at lunchtime, and plenty to watch while eating my sandwich.  There was two guys from Ocean Kinetics, busy at work.  They were busy repairing the pier, since I don't know much about piers, I assume it's the bumpers they were replacing or fixing.  Taken at Grutness Pier, Sumburgh.
