New bridge

I had a couple of clients this morning and then we popped into Staines to see how the railway work was progressing. The new bridge is in and trains are running across it now. The bridge is not as deep as the old one so hopefully HGV’s won’t get stuck under it anymore. And there is nowhere under it for pigeons to roost. When it is posted on the spelthorne website it will be interesting g to watch the time lapse video. The the bridge is laid on concrete pillars and looks good . We saw the rail laying train being taken away last night so we knew the track had been laid successfully .
