Cropped Sycamore!

10°C  -  5 mph ESE Wind Speed  -  9 mph Gusts  -  Cloudy  -  Sunny Intervals.  The Treemen came and cropped my Sycamore tree while I was out yesterday  -  it had grown so tall and was impeding the growth of my Apple tree and casting a huge shadow over the Patio.  It now gives a different feel to the garden, and I am wondering what it will look like next year when it gain some more growth.  It was planted by my friend Heather when I moved in thirty years ago  -  neither of us knew what sort of tree it was.  Sadly she passed away some years ago, but should she be looking down on the garden today I know she would be very pleased to see her tree still standing comparatively tall:)
