Parking Spot Secured!

Yesterday we could find no parking. Plan was to get up early today , but insomnia prevented that lol. We got a later start than planned, decided to leave Cowboy home this time as he seemed to be panting (a lot a sign of pain )so I gave him a pain pill and off we went. Drove up to the trail and no parking so we drove down and turned around to try again and voila!! Someone was just pulling out!
The day was lovely, high 50’s and low 60’s with no rains . The trail was well maintained but difficult enough for me so took it slow. I really have lots of conditioning to do , got jelly legs toward the end and sat on many logs . But I persisted and the views and vegetation was great. Tiny yellow violets, trilliums , and lush green mosses and lichens all over. It was the oxbow loop trail written up in Fridays paper as having lots it wonderful mosses. It did!!
It was in the Mt Si natural conservation resources area.
