Day Two of Honey Do

We tackled a GIANT project today. Well technically we aren’t done but 3/4 completed for our part.

We want to clean up our Apple Orchard. Heritage apples grow on our property and up until now, we just didn’t have the time, energy or money to work it out. This was on our list last year and we ran out of time.

So, chainsaw and human muscle, we cleared more than half of the orchard. It was loaded with saplings and vines. Once cleared and as soon as the ground dries a bit more, we will have the earthwork company come in to smooth it out and grass it over.

We’re thrilled with our progress! This is the before…. I’ll post the after when it’s done.
