It was a good day to work in the garden which is looking colourful now with various bulbs. It was hard to pull out the weeds and divide perennials in much of the large area which is still wet with sticky clay but was very pleasant in the drier sunny part where this isolated bright blue scilla was flowering. When I got too tired I enjoyed just sitting listening to the birds singing in the sunshine before the cloud came when it was time to eat.
