Golfing

In the morning we went to rugby training. It was a lovely bright warm morning for it. CyclopsJnr had a good time. They finished up playing a game of Coaches (x6) vs kids (x30ish) touch rugby which the kids found hilarious. Shame it is the end of the season today. They were told to get gum shields for next season. Gulp.

Home for lunch, bagels with avocado. 

After lunch CyclopsJnr was hoping to play outside with friends but he couldn't find anyone. He was a bit disappointed.

So MrsCyclops asked him what else he'd like to do in an ideal world. He said golf! He'd enjoyed playing mini golf with Grandma last week. Ok! MrsCyclops googled 'mini golf in Edinburgh' and the Volcano Falls mini golf centre at Fountainpark had slots, so why not. We played 18 holes (some twice whilst waiting our turn to move on) and appreciated the dinosaur themed decor. MrsCyclops won but not by an awful lot.

We got home at 5ish at which point CyclopsJnr found some local kids to play with before tea, so that worked out really well.
