Mistletoe?
Mother’s Day! Lovely and sunny again. Cards, gifts and phone calls. We had a beautiful walk up to Howe Ridding with Helen, Chris and the dogs for the first butterfly transect of the year, and saw plenty of Brimstones. The Daphne mezerium was in flower see extra.
Then to the Foulshaw reserve but no ospreys as yet.
We had tea on the lawn, and we spotted a possible mistletoe seedling on an apple tree, they take around three years to get going.
Rob cooked a lovely roast chicken, and we had Tiramisu for pudding!
A great day.
