Worth the wait

I've seen daffodils in many places on the island but these are the first of mine to bloom - so now it's officially Spring to me! Daffodils are my favourite flower. 
I had a really good walk down Xwaaqw'um today. The trail was very mucky after the recent rains and I have to keep my eyes on the ground, watching for exposed roots and rocks waiting to trip me. A warmer day, cloudy but perfect for walking. So lucky to walk in peaceful surroundings.

Sunday Soup: Cream of celery. I've never made this but I think it's going to be delicious!
