Poles apart

Had a major curtain disaster. Popped down for a coffee when halfway through ironing and when I returned the curtain pole was broken and one in a heap on the floor.
Hubby got his tools and had it fixed quite quickly. Don’t understand what happened.
Finished the ironing while hubby finished jobs in the garden and we relaxed with a G&T. Walk with Hetty was nice and we bumped into a friend so stood chatting a while. Coffee in the garden before cooking dinner.
This weather is so nice and really enjoying the garden,
