Channel Markers

Here we are scooting through the marked channel to the north of the Burnt Isles. Scooting is the right word as the tide speeds up through the narrow gap to give a helping hand if one is going in the right direction. Back home now after another day of flat calm and non stop sunshine.  We did hoist a sail for the last mile but it was mostly motoring rather than sailing.  Altogether a great impromptu wee cruise, totally unexpected in March.
