Mother’s Day

We managed to get Doreen into our house today for Sunday lunch, a film and a bit of tea to help mark Mother’s Day. She enjoyed her lunch, and the Miss Potter film.

What a shame that the weather was so disappointing. I think much of the country bashed under clear skies and sunshine while we in the sub tropical southeast shivered under cloud and a brisk easterly. It put paid to taking Doreen out anywhere.

She had a lovely arrangement of flowers, a card and a nice box of chocolates. I think she enjoyed herself, although it’s an ever increasing challenge for her to move snd for us to help here.
